Ambassador of the Year

This prestigious award is given to an Ambassador member of the Grenada Area Chamber of Commerce that is enthusiastically promoting chamber projects, events, festivals or happenings. This award winner has invested significant contributions in ensuring quality programs and services of the Chamber.

Award of Excellence

This prestigious honor is given to the outstanding Committee Chairperson of an outstanding Committee that the nomination committee feels who actively encourages and demonstrates outstanding involvement and leadership throughout the Chamber of Commerce and in the Community in which the chamber serves. This Committee freely shares ideas and opinions regarding Chamber & community issues and is a catalyst for the future of the Chamber. A plaque is displayed at the Chamber office each year in honor of the Committee.

Grenada School District Educator of the Year

This award is presented to the individual selected as the Overall Teacher of Excellence in the Grenada School District. The recipient of this award is selected by the GSD Administration.

James “Coach” Edmond Award

This prestigious award is given to an individual that the selection committee feels deserves recognition for their efforts to improve life in Grenada County as we work toward our goal of “A Brighter Future”. This honor is named for community leader James Edmond, who passed away.

Kirk Academy Educator of the Year

This award is presented to the individual selected as the Overall Teacher of Excellence at Kirk Academy. The recipient of this award is selected by the KA Administration.

President’s Award Recognition:

This award is one of the chamber’s most prestigious awards and is selected by the outgoing president.  This important award recognizes a member’s exemplary service and support to the chamber as we work toward our vision of making Grenada Area Chamber of Commerce great place to live, work and play.

Virginia Hubbard Award

This prestigious honor is named for an exemplary Chamber Volunteer and the first manager of the Grenada Chamber. This important award is presented to the individual selected as the Overall Outstanding Volunteer of the Year.
