Kirk Academy Educator of the Year
Denise Boxx
Denise is employed by Kirk Academy as a 6th Grade Teacher. She and her husband, Charles, have three children Beth, Leah, and Sarah.
Her Community involvement includes being an active member of First Baptist Church in Coffeeville, MS.
She believes that teaching is a ministry. She feels it is her job to not only fill their heads with knowledge but also to help build their confidence, character and to share Gods love and encourage them. She knows that our children today are faced with many different challenges she feels they need to know that someone cares.
The advice she gives to the community is to reach out to others and to become involved in helping the needy in our area. She also feels that volunteers are often unappreciated but so needed.
